If you’re planning graduation photos at Auburn, the good news is you don’t have to go far. Most of my favorite spots are within a few minutes’ walk of each other, which means more time taking photos and less time walking across campus in heels.
Here’s where I’d start.
The Auburn University sign
The brick sign with "Established 1856" on it is the one everybody wants, and for good reason. It says exactly where you went to school without anyone needing a caption. Stand, sit on the ledge, hold your cap. It gets busy around commencement, so it’s worth hitting it first.

Samford Hall and the lawn
Samford Hall is the classic Auburn backdrop. The red brick and white trim photograph beautifully, and the big oaks on the lawn give you shade when the sun is still high. If you only pick one spot, pick this one.
The oak-lined walks
The sidewalks under the oaks around the lawn are my go-to for walking shots and cap tosses. The trees make a natural tunnel, and the light coming through them late in the day is hard to beat.
A few more worth a stop
- [Toomer’s Corner](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toomer%27s_Corner). It’s right at the edge of campus, it’s iconic, and it’s busy. Plan on a few quick shots, not a whole session.
- [Jordan-Hare Stadium](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan%E2%80%93Hare_Stadium). Great if football was a big part of your four years. Bring a jersey.
- The brick walkways around campus. Clean, simple backgrounds that let your outfit do the talking.
- [Davis Arboretum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_E._Davis_Arboretum). When you want green and quiet instead of brick and crowds.
You don’t need all of these. Two or three spots is plenty for one session, and once you book, I’ll help you pick the ones that fit your time and your story.
